I'm Alice, a young girl from Australia. I recently added you after I came across your few videos on youtube.(I hope I won't come across as creepy for finding your journal as well!)

Anyway, your videos were lovely and I believe that we may have similar interests, tastes and views on life. :-)

Bonjour,

I found your LJ because I have found your Youtube videos and I liked them. (that sounds creepy, but it isn't I promise)

Anyway I'm not a writer but I love to read someone's view on the world, it inspires me to continue and doing things (in my own little way) that would make the world a little bit better.

A bientôt …

Some suggestions:

We - Zamyatin (Can't find my copy or I'd recommend its translation, think it is Clarence Brown)
Chuangzi & Rumi (Your Choice)
Fight Club - Palahniuk
The Blank Slate - Pinker

Unfortunately that's all I can remember at this time. Maybe more later.

have you read lolita already? i say start with that.
before you read white teeth, read Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie.
Also pick up Mrs. Dalloway, and A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man. I'm also a sucker for Proust (Swan's Way) and Camus (anything).
